'bunny boiler'-noun informal.

a woman who acts vengefully after having been spurned by her lover.

You might have seen the film Fatal Attraction with Glenn Close as the Bunny Boiler,that's where the term originated and she'd be the extreme. To me it's someone who tries to take over the direction of the relationship. That would be a big enough warning sign for most people but some don't see it coming.

Then again,some might welcome it.
