Anyone hear anything bout a virus on WhatsApp

Nope , but I keep getting an email from scammers telling me they’ve watched and filmed me wanking to porn and they gonna send vid to my granny and the parish priest if I don’t immediately deposit 3000 dollars in bit coin , apparently I have 24 hrs to comply

I’ll swap ya that for the WhatsApp virus !

I just got this from someone I know:

If you know anyone using WhatsApp you might pass on this. An IT colleague has advised that a video comes out tomorrow from WhatsApp called martinelli do not open it , it hacks your phone and nothing will fix it. Spread the word.

If you receive a message to update the Whatsapp to Whatsapp Gold, do not click.

Now said on the news this virus is difficult and severe

Pass it on to all
