Two situations at work for me, and both would be fairly frustrating if I didn't distract myself from dwelling on them.

Firstly my job entails having to wear suits and dealing with (amongst others) dozens of very attractive and single holiday makers every day. Being one of the only men in that environment having to dress formally seems to make some of these ladies hoodwink themselves into perceiving me as much more attractive than I actually am, which in turn results in a lot of flirting and banter each week, which I have to admit is great for a laugh but almost always impossible to take any further due to time and logistical constraints.

The other situation ( the classic, 'not one your own doorstep' ) is working with a few absolutely stunning single ladies and one in particular who is gorgeous and very fond of me as I am of her. Bedsides the fact that she's a work colleague she has been messed about in her former relationships and is very vulnerable and has confided a lot in me, so I'd have to be a total A hole to ever take advantage of that trust

Fecking maturity that comes with middle age and life experience...no wonder I'm addicted to cold showers this summer
