Think after a week you don't show up as newbie anymore but in my opinion you're a newbie for 1-2 months cause this place takes getting used to ha.

Can't help but notice how many newbies contacting us with multiple verifications within days or even a day.

Maybe one or two are genuine but surely not all?

We were Newbies to the site not so long ago and we have met a few Newbies to help them get going with a social veri.

Then there are paid members who are a year plus on the site with no verifications. Maybe they just use the site as a wank bank.

Any thoughts?

Can be hard to get meets due to work/family life outside of Fab....we've had a small number ourselves but I'm out of the country til late August and Mrs snickers has her hands full with house/work and baby so meets of any kind are off until then.....add to that the no shows and time wasters who waste people's free time when you could have had a genuine meet means getting verified does take time.But your right to on the pic / wank bank collectors..

Recalling, it even took us a month or so to get verified.

There are some really fab (sorry for the pun) people here but OMG we have happened upon some really scary/threatening personalities too.

ah sorry to hear that ypu should never feel sacred or uncomfortable its not what its about everyone should be relaxed and comfortable its more fun that way

most on here are lovely but there is aslways the odd few

Soon as family life is back to normal we are going to start trying out the clubs in England every couple of weeks...at least you know what your getting..

Messed up on a coffee meet myself ,

Two ladies contacted me for meet , they were new an left site soon after !

Its hard for s male to get up an running,

Seems to be a click on here

From where we stand.

Our profile when read through, is very specific on single guys. We don't want to receive mail but so many send it and when you polity ask them why they sent it, the answer is nearly always "thought I'd chance my arm and try stand out".

We view those unwanted mails as guys who have no respect for our wishes and genreally block them.

When we look at your profile Duck we see some of your interests are not for us. Maybe choose those specifically with the same interests if possible when contacting them.

Also you have nothing about yourself in the bio.

Think about what you can offer to another member and let them read about you.

We talk to everyone on a burner phone before we make an arrangement to meet even for a coffee.

We have never attended any (yet) but maybe a planned social could be a way to meet verified members.

Nothing great here happens without genuinely good effort but when it does happen it leaves some pretty fab memories

I think once a single/couple are meet verified by an active fabber and discounting veris within hours/days of joining unless they were members before, they should no longer be considered newbies.

That's my take on it anyway.
