Soooooo.....I found a lump where a lump shouldn’t be, on my testicles!! My appointment is booked for my GP, and let’s hope for a good outcome. It very rarely is with a lump really.

So my question is.....and I’m being Frank and upfront here.....how many fellas or ladies with a lump elsewhere put it on the long finger??

For me, discovered last night, with the GP this evening.

Well done for taking action.... was in a similar situation a few years back and it really hit me.... when i went to the GP she was excellent and was able to rule out the big C instantly... not all lumps are the worst case scenario but all lumps should be checked out ASAP... hope it goes ok for you fella

I discovered a lump on my neck and went to gp within days, both he and the consultant I was referred to reassured me that the chances of it being cancerous were very low, guess what? It was cancerous.

Don't put off getting checked out if you find unusual growths, it's very foolish.

Fair play op and fingers crossed everything is fine.

Few years ago I would have waited but due to family history I'm in a very very high risk category so when I found lump last year I was with the doc the next day and mammagram within the week. Thankfully all was fine but its very frightening.

Everyone should check regularly and go to the doc with any changes at all

Getting it checked quickly is the key. Hopefully it's something of nothing. I had a lump in my breast a few years ago and was told they were almost sure it was cancer. Turned out to be a cyst thankfully.

Exact same thing happened to me 25 years ago. He was 100% sure it was a sabasious cyst on my neck. Cancerous. Dug it out and nothing since

I have to get checked regularly as I am prone to cyst's. I never get blasé about it though. Usually a cyst that requires fine needle aspiration which sounds awful but is actually an ok procedure. Always check yourself and don't delay in getting an appointment. Best of luck op, hope all goes well.

Well done on prompt action, I've lost family members because they didn't act. Hopefully it's nothing but if it is something the fact you've acted promptly is great. I check my breasts regularly and have regular smears. If something appears I'll act immediately

I discovered a lump that I couldn't budge. Greatest thing I ever did leaving her

But on the medical side. I did find one. Off to the doctor's I went. Turned out to be a cyst so nothing major. It's not worth worrying about. Just never wait and see.
