Hahaha. I didn't know it was fathers day till this week when one of mine asked if I'll be home on Sunday. I said why?

Anyway no I won't be but the 3 here gave me cards and presents last night. All handmade as they know whats more important is their input rather than buying something. They're taking me out midweek fir a daughters-fathers evening (I have always had a fathers-daughter day with each one most months from when they were about 3 yrs old. My eldest who's 27 gave me a daughter-fathers weekend present for Christmas where she spoilt me all weekend. Love them all to bits and have a great ongoing relationship with each one.

Its important to stay in your kids lives ... when they are younger the mother msy try keep you out of their lives but eventually they will be old enough to make their own decision ad to mee you or not ... keep that door open & welcome them when they come looking

I still give the good daddies their day my dad and my bro in law are the best dads.

And as it happens my daughter wishes me happy Father’s Day because I’m the two parents

An English newspaper was calling for the removal of Fathers Day.

A lot of people on here share nearly exact same values as English people, so I assume a lot on here see fathers day as something to moan about.

Father’s Day is not a moaning occasion nor is mother’s day

Fathers Day is a hallmark day. Fathers Day is every day, Mothers Day is 24/7.

But what about adopted kids with 2 gay mothers? Or a kid with a mother and a trans father? It's not fair on them to impose gender sterotypes?

A man does not have a womb so did not choose to have the baby, so in essence does not need to be celebrated?

Separate issue to a Hallmark holiday.

I applaud single dads they are amazing. I’m not commenting on the reasons why my kids don’t have a relationship that’s too personal but I will say it’s not always black and white

My brother in law chose with my sister to have kids a womb doesn’t mean you should be celebrated!

As for the other comments I’m oretty sure anyone in that situation has their day like the rest of us normal parents

You asked about the mothers "moaning" about the fathers.
