Cheap fights from uk, I hour travel, if somebody came to meet you from cork or the west, it would take them longer.Travel in the modern day is only a short distance.

Lisburn

I'd say anywhere within the counties of ulster is a definite. Leister is a probable. Connacht and Munster would be probably only if I'm down there with work.

At least we have a bit of a limitation over here as to how far you can drive. English folk must struggle to put a distance limit on lol

I enjoy driving and love my car so 2-3 hours not an issue. Driving to the south west in July for a M&G and looking forward to the "me time" in the car almost as much as the event

For the right person a few hours travel is nothing. Once it wasn't a quick splash an dash

I've often gone to Belfast for a M&G.

I travel regularly. 2 or 3 hrs isn't unusual... gps sends people all over the place

On a serious note my meets are usually range from most the day to over night sometimes a weekend so it's all relative to how short or long the meet is I guess, and I have travelled to England a few times meets.

Can you blame him, hotties!

I’ve met guys in the UK and have had guys fly over here. If there’s a connection and attraction, I’m definitely open to roadtrips.

Now UK is a bit much even if it is a simple flight away but mostly I don't get the whole distance issue....

Most people say they are too busy and need to plan meets, totally agree there but then why do they have to be in close proximity

Example: It's Monday, you chat to someone, you get on, you plan for a first meet for Saturday or any future day that suits; time and place....what does it matter that they are travelling further than you if they are happy to do it?

I mean regardless of where they are living you've organised the same tiiiime.....annnnnd..... plaaaaace?

I've just figured it out!!!! :-0

People living in the same area, know the area, the guy doesn't get lost.....guy NOT from the area if he gets lost he ain't finding it cause women are terrible at directions......end up telling you where you shouldn't go rather than where you should.....

your imagination

I travel regularly to the UK for events and have a fabulous fwb I meet while over there. Ryanair flights are cheap as chips and even in larger cities, hotels are a fraction of the cost of ones here. I'm just back from an amazing weekend in Manchester which, (including flights) cost €150 less than an upcoming weekend in a KK hotel for a friend's hen party is going to cost me

About an hour is the max we'd travel....we have had people a lot closer to us arrange to meet Mrs snickers and myself and they never turned up.As for going to England we'd go that far for the clubs...cheap flights and it's Ment to be a great experience in the clubs over their so it's on our list.

I had a guy fly from the UK to meet me, he worked in Heathrow and we met in Shannon.

It would be more hassle to drive to Dublin after all.

For me it'd be 3hrs absolute tops...I'd be too fatigued to meet if I spent any longer than that driving

I've driven over three hours for a meet, and three more back home after an hour or so. I've travelled much further for overnights. Some people are worth the distance.

Totally agree with that last part. I couldn’t imagine seeing it as an ‘effort’ for the right destination.

Dublin

I travel if I have time and notice. It can be hard for me to make plans sometimes. Usually only travel to meet people I've met before at a party or social though, purely for a safety thing as it can be a risk rocking up to meet a complete stranger a couple of hundred miles from the nearest person you'd know!

It would be my luck that if someone offered to fly from the UK that they were planning to murder me or something. But that's just my luck

I'd want someone to be willing to travel for me, so can't refuse to travel myself if needs be.
