The best sort of BLOCK

I was recently talking to a lovely women on here who is well verifyed and has been on here for a long time, ( the same as myself ) and we're getting on extremely well. So after a few weeks of exchanging pictures and texts on here we aranged a meet. (BRILLIANT. as every man on here should know ) so we sorted a time and place to meet as you do, I arrived and waited and waited and waited as you do ( not like a dog in heat ) but as an old person waiting on death.

I didn't receive a call ( even after exchanging numbers ) or a polite I'm sorry I cannot meet or see you message, to which I'm left with the feeling that most of the ladies on here do not want to meet or there only on here for there ego's.. THIS IS NOT A RANT

so should I block ladies like this on here or they to keep the faith.

Curious how can u foretell what ladies u arrange to meet is going to stand you up so u can block them in the first place

U could block them all but then you are left with none

We all have been stood uo at sone stage on fab unfortally

U arent the first

U wont be the last

Time to forget about it and move on

unfortunately it seems to be the norm on here lately people not turning up to meets and ignoring messages

You can report them to Admin as a No Show. I believe that if it happens twice in a certain timeframe, they get a ban/block, though I don't know if it's permanent.

Totally sucks Ben, it's up to you, as Miss Fab says I'd say just let it go.

You could (if you haven't already) message/text and ask what happened? And still get no response or maybe you might with an explanation. If you get one, it may end up that another try at meeting is on the cards.

But who's to say they wouldn't stand you up again and there's another pointless 2 hour drive.

The choice, is yours.....as our Graham would say!

I came across a thread from a lady that got stood up.She filled a whole thread of pithy from mostly men.Buy this guy is told get on with it.

In my humble opinion, its just plain bad manners for anyone (male, female or couples) to arrange a meet and not show up. There can be last minute issues that can prevent a person meeting but just to not show is ridiculous.

Do they get a laugh picturing the person maybe paying for a hotel room, driving a long way and sitting waiting?

Pretty sad people if they do that.

Do grown adults really find that amusing?

well i would just block and move on its just plan rude and no bloody need to ignore & be a no show. it takes less than a minute to message and say sorry but i cant make it.. i do not understand what ppl get off of ghosting and becoming a noshow .. chalk it down block move on op

I’ve blocked all my no shows. When I first joined I had a lot who didn’t cancel or show up to the place arranged. They then had the cheek to message again looking to meet up. So now I block the min they’ve not shown to stop that happening.

I have had to cancel at short notice but have always contacted the person as soon as I know I won’t make it it’s only manners

The Irish swinging community is a small one so if a man or woman is a time-waster or no-show merchant, their name and reputation gets around here very, very quickly ...

Myself, I've been stood up about three times now and have no reservations about naming and shaming those who've stood me up as I'd hate to see the same immature behaviour perpetrated on anyone else here. It's also a sad reflection of a sad, sad "adult" to carry out that sort of nonsense but it happens...

Most Fabbers here are really genuine, sound & sociable people so don't be disheartened Op. Also remember that when you're out meeting and having physical fun , they'll still be sitting at home by themselves with a little wet sock or hand wishing they were in the postion that you're now in...

So go meet, get a few new veris...& then BLOCK
