Just been chatting to a lady who would only meet if I first sent money over circle “to prove I’m genuine”.

She would then gladly refund once we met, I assume this is a new scam.

Anyone else come across this ?

Yeah happened to me, I sent the money weeks ago. Couldn't believe my luck, shes a Nigerian princess. Unfortunately all her gold is "tied up" at the moment. All she needs is 5000 euro to release it. Just wiring it now. So fingers crossed she will refund my money next week as She promised. Woohoo. See there are genuine people on here

Had that tried on me a few weeks back except she was looking for amazon vouchers. Difficult to ban these people forever but the name and shame ban should be lifted when it comes to calling them out

Totally worked for me!

I sent my bank details too AND my PPS number. It was a o worth the COFFEE....

(But for some reason my bank had a glitch and all my money disappeared)

Circle pay is like PayPal and a method of transferring money via mobile phone.

That surely smell like a scam. That is what a verification is for to show that you are real
