I've been to quite a few concerts over the years, want to get a few in this year. Any recommendations on a few random lesser known bands that would be worth going to? What's the best/worst concert you have ever been at?

I’ve been to tonnes of gigs, love them.

If you haven’t seen Dave Matthews Band live, you need to. I followed them all over the States when I lived there.

The Riptide Movement put on a brilliant show. Worth checking out, and they’re homegrown

Black stone cherry are playing down in Dolans next month... Worth checking out actually pretty much any thing that comes to Dolans is worth checking out.

Best live venue in the country

Don't fear the reaper, one of my favourite songs. Always insisted on playing that when I gigged with different bands. That's replaced mmmbop from my head now for the rest of the day. Thanks so much

Yeah, you and me both. My mate is a massive fan. Has all his albums on vinyl. You should email or message his website and try and persuade him and the band back over!

I gave up going to the usual big gig . Instead I go and see local bands which are brilliant . Blackbird and Crow . Crow Black chicken . Samarakin . There is lots of brilliant local bands which you will enjoy and won't cost a fortune either .
