I think I struggle to know how much to eat...I can lose weight no problem....but I think I probably only eat like 1500 calories a day...eventually I give up...need to learn how to stabilise my diet a little. I love running to lose too, but not clever to really under eat and do long runs..

I’ve lost 7st in 18mts. I’m not on any specific diet, just changed my way of life. I try not to eat after 6pm, I walk approx 1-2hrs a day with the dog. I’m not strong enough to stick to a diet.

train for a marathon still time to do DCM you'll have no regrets don't worry about the time it will take to finish keep an eye on the calories you'll be in great shape on marathon day. Got a stone to lose myself the longer runs will get me back to running weight. Good luck and well done.

Been there and lost over 4st. First thing to do is set a goal, not a weight goal but and achievement goal...10km, a swim, a long walk etc. When you have something to work towards it will motivate you. Next snacks....thats where all the calories are so get rid of them. Treat days....on day a week ...chinese, chipper doesn't matter you deserve it, life is for living.

Exercise...easy start, leave your house walk for 10 mins then go home. Add one minute each day. Then add a short jog. Dont too much at the start makes you stiff and sore (no jokes please )

Oh and finally ...food. if it comes in a box it's bad !!!! Fresh food .

Hope this helps
