Tallaght

Hello all , New poster, I will be visiting Dubai for a number of days in the upcoming weeks , and just wondering does anyone have any recommendations for stuff to do there , I’ll be traveling with work and will be alone. Within my own social circle not many have visited there and those who have , have said the norm (Burj Khalifa, Desert Safari) . I have done some checking myself and haven’t really found that much.... I’ve seen the Zero Gravity bar which looks great (has anyone been there) or has anyone got any recommendations as to what to do there, places to go or drink? Also understandably I can see that this forum is littered with various topics of debaucery but in this case , I wanted the opinion of normal Irish people , which can be refreshingly brutal in comparison to those perfect experiences we can all dig up on sites like TripAdvisor!

Muchos Gracias for any feedback x

Hiya I live in Dubai.

Ramadan started yesterday so it's not the best time to be visiting. It's over on the 15th July though (moon etc permitting).

Any questions drop me a pm.

Mark

People In Dubai don't watch The Flintstones. But people in Abu Dhabi do.

That is one small minded statement to have made!! Saudi has some strict rules, but nothing that anyone needs to be afraid off.

As for Abu Dhabi,Dubai,Bahrain or Qatar they have a great irish population and if you bring the training bag Google the nearest GAA club and they will always help you out.

Wow, just wow. What is even more sad about this statement is you obviously searched for this forum to come and make that. Don’t really want to check the Abu Dhabi forum now. Jeez.
