"I know people say that Coronation Street etc are not real, and, yes,some storylines are far fetched BUT depression and suicide are very real. Coronation Street have highlighted something extremely important tonight, and I hope it reiterates the fact that you NEVER truly know how someone is feeling inside or what they're dealing with. Shayne Ward has played his part brilliantly, and his final episode tonight has been an eye opener ?? If you’ve been affected by mental health problems, suicidal plans, anything that’s wrecking your head, please ask for help. Ring your gp, if they’re as useless as mine, ring a friend, ask in your online groups for support, anything Lifeline 0800 808 800 Samaritans Ireland 116 123 24-hour National Domestic Violence Freephone Helpline 0808 2000 247 " Don't watch Corrie....but your post is so perfect on many levels .
