I can't see the problem.

If you are going to a specific fab event and someone local to you is going too why not share a car to it?

If its people looking for transportation otherwise then they aren't really looking in the right place..

It was a person looking for a lift from the centre of Dublin to where they live and had it as a “meet” for today

Ginger this was a girl looking to be collected from one part of town and driven to another. Not a social meet related thing... that on the otherhand would make perfect sense.
