Sexual objectification is the act of treating a person as a mere object of sexual desire. Objectification more broadly means treating a person as a commodity or an object without regard to their personality or dignity."

Objectification is rampant in our daily lives people are objectified sexually as a marketing tool.

My question is" Is it possible to live in a world free of objectification, and what are peoples opinions on the subject"

Personally I feel objectification in society means people have to live up to a certain standard, have to look a certain way etc.. It's not healthy and I'm assuming can lead to massive confidence and mental health issues.

We get people on here all the time objectifying Miss C. There are many who think that just because she is on this site or because of some of our pics that C will just go running to them or drop her knickers for them (when she actually wears any) just because they want a bit.

We've even had guys say "Sure you're a slut. That's what sluts do. Or that's what sluts are for".

A lot of them speak as if we have a single female profile so not only are they not recognising her as a person but I don't exist either.

Some of them are even that bold and cheeky that they think C will even travel to them just to please them.

These assholes all usually end up on the block list, usually after being told that C may be a slut but doesn't mean she doesn't have standards. There is a big difference.

We usually also comment on how they have been on a year or whatever and still haven't been verified and it's easy to see why and wish them luck as they'll need it with the attitudes they have. Then BLOCK!!!

It's very stupid idea people adopt, the assumption is once you're on a "sex site" (I'd call fab a swing site but for the purpose of the comment I won't debate the difference) that you're automatically guaranteed the ride, which causes such idiotic behaviour.

I don’t want this to come across as a personal as it’s genuinely not, but perhaps the fact that her latest photo has a pic of her with “fuck my whore ass” scrawled across her back leads to some men assuming (obviously incorrectly) that she may enjoy being objectified even when your profile makes it clear that’s not the case

Well yes, I see the point how pics like those mentioned can entice people to react the way they do but those pics were only posted up on Sunday evening. I was talking about in general from when we first joined right up until recently when the pics were posted.

In fairness most messages we get are usually polite or some who may chance their arm we can usually laugh it off and banter with them through messages.

But the ones I was referring to are those who seen to have a bizarre sense of entitlement.

What you are saying comes across to me as being akin to a person who will tell somebody who was r-aped "Well if you dress the way you do or are wearing a t-shirt with such a slogan or behave in the way you do then you were asking for it". Nobody is ever asking for it.

Regardless of how persons present themselves if people fancy their chances or want to chance their arm that is fair enough but that doesn't mean they should automatically think they are entitled or should just jump to their own conclusion.

I simply said that some of your pictures and the message on your partners back may suggest on a SEX site that you guys may enjoy messages linked to said pictures and the writing on your partner.

If you are actively looking to meet single guys on here and post a picture with said words then I would suggest its fair that some men will message offering their services.

Yep, I agree myself it is a very poor analogy.... purposely. The point I was trying to make about people seeing or reading things and then just making assumptions or misinterpreting things or drawing their own conclusions. See??? It's very annoying and startling isn't it? I do actually understand where you are both coming from and it has given me food for thought. Hence why both profiles are now set to hidden. Time for a revamp or to go back to basics or maybe just delete the profiles..... when it becomes more of a chore or all the fun has gone out of it then what's the point. I'll have to mull it over. Your profiles belong to you guys and you shouldn’t have to change anything you don’t want to - just put steps in to only get the kind of messages you want from people and not the ones you no doubt get all too often that show no respect to you or your partner
