Real world consequences of fabbish behavior

Just saw in today’s paper how a guy contracted to fit a boiler for an energy company ended up losing his job when he suggested to the lady house owner client that he might like to kiss her . Having often seen this fantasy scenario here mentioned I’m now wondering if the guy was a fabber who perhaps forgot the real world might not appreciate the flirty personas we inhabit here , think the dude was harshly dealt with losing his job and hauled in front of a disiplinary panel within hours of the imcident . The woman got a bouquet of flowers an apology and a 2500 euro voucher for her “distress” , what do ye make of that

Sooooo many variables here. He could very well have come across as an absolute creep in which case he deserves to loose his job.

Now if there was mutual flirting and so on.....then it's bloody harsh

Does remind me of the friends episode when they get free porn , they watch so much they can distinguish real life anymore

I think someone coming onto you unexpectedly like that, in the corse of their work, in your home is a pretty serious breach of boundaries. They are there to complete work and to act as agents of their employers. Proper order (I think)

2.5 k is much cheaper than a court case.

So true on the financial aspect... Court settlements (and even more so legal fees) in this country are insane..
