I gave my one away as I didn’t think it was nice at all.

Although.. I may be a bit of a hardcore americano type of coffee drinker.

I should mention that the Essence - Santa Anna espresso and Starbucks Espresso brand both give really good coffee.

Love it!

The pods from Lidl were the nicest, but they've stopped making them. L'Or ones are nice too

Is it true that the only place to buy Nespresso over the counter is in Brown Thomas, or else order online?

I see on Amazon that you can now get ones that you can fill with whatever coffee you like and they're reusable. Has to be better for the environment and you get to choose the coffee

PS all my coffee grounds are recycled in composter or for marinading meat before smoking

Ah I only do the coffee, bourbon and spice marinaded brisket smoking in the good weather, so the time is dependent on the Irish climate

Never liked them, coffee not strong enough (and yes I did try all strengths)

They just over rated!

I'd love to know if there's any Nespresso pods recycling options in Ireland and if so do people avail of them?

Yes the Nespresso shops take the pods back for recycling. They give out bags when you buy pods so you can return your old ones when you order your next lot.

Dublin/Drogheda

I have to say I really like Nespresso and I am a fussy coffee drinker. I only use the 12 and 13 strength pods. They are much nice than some of the muck served in coffee shops.
