Public service announcement!!!

Just had some lemon drizzle cake from L!dl I think. It is gooood cake. It would be one of my favourites and this one is good

I think someone won a competition at the ploughing and L!dl are making it and selling it in their shops.

100% lemon drizzle cake for me. Chocolate cake can be a bit to heavy at times for me

Mine would be a Tom Poes cake... its a Dutch cake type a thing... with puff pastry and sort of custard mixed with whipped cream.. yummmmmm

I make a great chocolate fudge cake and a baileys and Malteser cheesecake. The apple crumble in Aldi is pretty decent.

I prefer to make my own cakes than buy them I must admit. Never got the appeal of lemon drizzle, but it seems popular.
