this past week has really hit home as to how so many people are struggling with some aspect of life and nobody knows. fb, social media in general, how easy it is to bully vulnerable others is beyond disgraceful. do you think there is enough help out there or do you just think people need to speak out more?

Def not enough help out there. And people have no idea of what a lot of people are going through. My eyes have been opened to a lot of stuff in the last 2 years. I have learned that social media etc is crap and yes it has its uses but a lot of it is fake, people putting on a show, we are "friends" with people on social media and how many would actually be there if you need them. We also do need to talk more both men and women the rate of suicide in this country is scary and yet nothing seems to be changing.

My advice to people is take the time to ring a friend meet them for a chat, get out put the phone down and enjoy the little things. And BE Nice

I’d always tell anyone to go talk to their doc and to talk. That’s the first step. My doc thank god is fantastic and helped me when I was in a bad way

Please do not attack me for having an opinion. I should feel safe having one.

Is that better for you?

In this day and age you would imagine their would be more help with mental health. Reality is very different. A couple of months ago my best friends daughter made an attempt to take her own life due to being bullied. Luckily enough her neighbour found her in time.

She kept saying she didn't want to be here any more and that this world is not for her. The doctors in the hospital were no help. She was put on a list to see a physiologist but that could take up to a year and that's being seen as an emergency. Their is literly no help out their for younger people. My heart broke watching her do everything she can to save her daughter.

Thankfully now she doing better. Her parents had to go private to get the help she needed. They were lucky to be able to afford it but what happens to the ones who cant afford it. There's such a stigma around mental health and it needs to be talked about and more needs to be done.

I think alot of the problems are caused by people looking at social media and compairing themselves to others. Not everyone can handle the pressures and feelings that brings. I dont have any Facebook or anything because I know its not good for me
