Prep is effective and should be used if people decide to participate in unprotected sex. It costs approx 100 euro per month/ prescription. Wearing protection is still the most effective - any health care professional will tell you this. Myself included.

But as with all safety Personal Protective Equipment is the least effective. Elimation of the risk is the number 1. For us though on this site we choose not to eliminate the risk thus need to determine other controls. Each one of us have varying levels of how far we protect ourselves.

This is so true. All this talk about safe sex, yet nobody ever uses protection for oral. It’s less risky than unprotected penetration and ppl are happy to accept that risk but whenever someone mentiones no condom penetration, the aids and death brigade comes in.
