Visiting Ireland in April

Hi all. We're visiting Ireland in April and couldn't be more excited about it. We're doing a circuit that takes us to several places and we've got things we plan to do in most of them, but so far nothing we've lined up for Galway (where we'll be spending a Saturday and Sunday). Any suggestions on stuff to do in Galway on a weekend?

Galways a great spot always loads on. Plenty good restaurants and bars.
