"I got a text from a girl on a dating site before "hey how are you?" she wasn't my cup of tea but she was like a cup of tea my friend made, at least she wasn't coffee so I replied. 10min later she sent hey how are you? And I was like what? And she said oh sorry mistake. Don't understand when Men or Women get upset with a polite rejection " People who have low self-esteem generally ca react poorly, the fragile ego tends to be very self-centred and sees the rejection as confirmation of their low self-worth, as opposed to being indicative of them simply not being what the other person is looking for. | |||

" i think casylee hit the nail on the head with the mention of ego , that’s what it boils down to , that’s what is hurt our or their ego's , no matter how polite you try to be , a rejection is a rejection , we cant all be everyons cup of tea , and we need to accept that about ourselves first and not be offended so much , oh and that pic , its so cool its hot  | |||

But what would I gain from it besides airing my annoyance for a few seconds only to be hit back with some abuse? Also I don't see a need of explaining myself, it only triggers further messaging. Instead I just reply with my usual neutral way of saying no thanks. I haven't had any abuse in the last two years. | |||

So next time someone doesn't reply to your mail, stops replying, or simply disappears... just remember... it happens to us girls too*
