First off that's a bit of a loaded question... You ask women about being at risk (in general) then ask guys about when dating someone.

But to answer your question if dating someone and after a certain time has passed I would consider it an issue if the woman I am with insists on using a condom when giving me oral.

To clarify further I am talking about being with someone 6 months, just with them etc.

It would come off as either she has an extreme phobia of catching something or... Is there something I should know about? (her not wanting to give me something out of fear)

In any case people need to be wise when giving oral (male or female) especially on a site like this. It's common sense.

But I feel the need to tell two stories here (also sorry guys for the long post)

1st, I was about to hook with a woman 10 years ago. She was only 21 at the time and I was 23. On the night we were meant to do it she told me she had vaginal warts before but 'assured' me they were gone. Needless to say I walked home with my condom in my back pocket. No need to take a risk even with protection. Not to mention it's a turn off. But hey good on her for being honest.

2nd, one of my friends has gotten tested for sti's a few times in James Street despite always using protection. It's a phobia of his.

Anyways... The amount of people you see there in the clinic will shock you. Normal everyday people (and to quote him 'beautiful women' in the queue)

You do realise people who are in the waiting room at the gum clinic arent all disease riddled. They are the sensible ones getting tested who may or may not have an sti. Beautiful people or not

Oh I was waiting for this reply. So much that I considered making that apart of my post.

Logic states tho... If you or I were in the waiting room... How could we differentiate who is there for what? I can't... Can you? Are we all to be naive and think no one is there to get a sti check-up?

I would think that most people that play play on a regular basis are responsible and repectful enough of other people. Me personally dont like the feel of the condom in my mouth. Not a huge lover of blow jobs but if came to it. Its a no go for me.

Virtually everyone who is sexually active will have come in contact with HPV at some point, which incidentally is one of the several STDs which can be contracted despite the use of condoms - and doesn't always mean visible warts either.

Everyone who is sexually active and non-monogamous should be getting tested for STDs.

First of all there's no fully bomb proof protection therefore you should get regularly tested when engaging in a NSA lifestyle. Some Sti can transmit through simple skin contact. So it isn't a phobia of your friend, it's you not going for check ups. You could be caring an Sti you're not aware of and pass it on.

The Sti clinics are there to get tested and to make sure you've no Sti. You can assume that most peeps queuing in the clinic are disease free and just do the sensible thing and go for a check up. Also beauty doesn't protect you from stis.

I don't post in Irish forum anymore but I'll add this as it's important. For those in the north the clinic in Anderson House, Altnagelvin, L'derry is free and results will be sent to you by text inside 10 days. Its useful having that text.

Yes I have used condom for oral a few times.

Things to take into account:

The penis will probably lose sensitivity over time in the condom. How soon is highly dependent on the condom really.

This means the guy could go floppy after half an hour blowjob in one and then 45 mins fucking.

To get around this you need to be willing to go through a few condoms. After being in a condom for a while skin on skin contact becomes extra nice, like when youre wearing rubber and then someone touches your skin...

So if you're willing to take the condom off after a 15/20 min blow job and then jerk their cock and rub it on your body, it should either give them a happy finish or kind of reload their sensitivity for sex.

All forms of physical contact between two or more people carries a risk of infection or cross infection.

Whether you suit up for oral or any other form of sex the risks vary.

Herpes and Genital warts for example can be passed through skin-on-skin contact simply by touching the area of an infected person.

Nothing is 100% safe on FAB!
