I think some clarification is in order.. the term 'Daddy' is usually used in a dom/sub dynamic, it's not about fantasizing about your actual father, but rather the Dom assuming a daddy role and looking after his little, caring for her, giving her structure and routine.. it's a term of endearment, and it suits K and I very well.. i think people should maybe have an understanding of that before making derogatory comments

Not for me but I understand it in the Dom/Sub dynamic. Had a sub who asked to call me it before but it's just not for me.

It works for some people and their kink. Each to their own, and I won't judge anyone who uses the term as part of their dynamic. But I personally won't let anyone but my child call me daddy.

Obviously most are into daddy/little, but that does not mean the other type does not exist, and it's not something you should clarify.

It's a hard limit for me because I'm a father of a lovely little girl over in Germany who I miss terribly and even though things are great and I'm as supportive as I can be, I still am extremely guilty for not being able to have stayed there and be proper father.

Nope. Personally i dont think calling someone daddy during sex is righy but im noy going to shame someone over it and i could have easily said yeuck instead i voiced my opinion. The op asked a question and people answered as do loads of other threads at end of day everyone in life judges people whether here on fab or in vanilla life but noticed on fab the minute anyone gives their opinion and it doesnt suit someone else they are xalled out on been judgemental or shaming others but isnt that person doing the same.

Nope. Personally i dont think calling someone daddy during sex is righy but im noy going to shame someone over it and i could have easily said yeuck instead i voiced my opinion. The op asked a question and people answered as do loads of other threads at end of day everyone in life judges people whether here on fab or in vanilla life but noticed on fab the minute anyone gives their opinion and it doesnt suit someone else they are xalled out on been judgemental or shaming others but isnt that person doing the same.

We live in a democracy, everyone is entitled to an opinion and has the the right to voice that opinion. But the faceless nature of the internet allows poeple to express those opinions in a way they wouldn't do to someones face.. a good rule of thumb might be if you wouldn't say it in person maybe best not to say it at all..

The only one i thought kink shaming was the one seeking professional help. Some of the other comments have been sent to me in private messages when ive turned a guy down and been called a lot worse. If people are on thus site they obviously have their own kinks and as i said each to their own. People have different ways of wording their opinion.

it's the usual problem. People mistake their right to express an opinion with an entitlement to have that opinion respected.

Wrong. Expressing opinions is a right.

Respect is earned.

If your opinion is a piss poor one based on ignorance and lack of empathy your still entitled to express it publicly if you want.

It's an open forum ur always going to get those that find one thing or another repulsive that's not to say that the forum holds the same view

On this thread already there's a kitten that has shown her appreciation for a daddy and is was quiet open about it no one knocked her for it and I am sure there's a lot more around who prefer to keep it for the bed room
