I have always been quite perplexed by fabs very own "which came first, the chicken or the egg" debate.

If you have to be verified to leave a verification, how did the first two fabbers get verified???

Having to be verified to verify someone only became a rule after Fab's initial beginnings when people were able to verify each other without being verified first themselves.

We did take a chance on an unverified guy. meet was organised and all was going well. then he disappeared.

will never meet unverified again. lots of meet and greets going on so prob best way to get verified.

also an unverified couple same thing.

Stinking think about living in Ireland is it's harder to get verified.

UK least has social clubs and they are on most nights of the week .

Get verified social club and it's easier then end of the day people need to trust too not label everyone under one brush who isn't verified.

I'm the same as you Ginger and have been known to invite unverified people my socials and I've met unverified guys for coffee the purpose of a verification.... some show up, some cancel but everyone should remember they were also new once...

It was on some woman's profile the other day about receiving 300 messages from guys on here within a few days. I believe it.

So that said in mind if the ratio of men to women is insane (which anyone can see by checking who's online) then 95% of men are never going to meet a woman or couple on here. So... What's the chances of getting verified?

A coffee in a public place no problem but when the guy starts saying he prefer to meet in car park because he might be seen having a coffee with a woman abd people think hes on a date.. or better one i got in tesco could bump into each other.

Yes single guys have it harder but some if ye dont do yourselves any favours. When politely turned down the nasty side comes out...but as someone else make effort to chat, put up some pics other than dick pics, fill out ur profile and someone will take a chance

I used to meet newbies for coffee if they were in the area (and I had the time to spare) so that they could get verified. However.... an appalling amount of them later showed a distinct lack of class by either

a) writing me a veri in return which implied that a lot more than coffee happened..

b) making suggestive comments in chatrooms or on forums that implied a lot more than coffee happened...

c) telling people privately that a lot more than coffee happened...

So now I'm filtered up to the eyeballs and (unless there's someone I'm really intrigued by) meet nobody for coffee anymore!! I attend and host group Socials instead... they're my coffee meet equivalent

Now that is an interesting question. Was there a verification 'amnesty' where fab admin dished out veris to accounts created before a certain point in time (like driving licences amnesty).

I’ve always sent nice messages but have found it difficult. But I think you can click with some people through messages. Ladies always want an interesting first message but then you get some reply’s like “fine thanks” or “Thank you” and then you’ve to think of something else! Anyways I’ve got chatting to a couple of lovely people now and starting to like Fab
