Awkward face pics.

So..... you see a profile. Pics look hot. You get chatting. They send face pics and -

They're just not your cup of tea.

At all

They sent face pics first, in good faith.

Do you send face pics back? Even though you have zero intention of continuing the conversation?

Or just ignore. Ethically.... what's the right thing to do?

Tough situation. Hard to just ignore them after you've agreed to exchange pics. If I'm not interested I usually just say it and leave it at that.

I have no doubt that we would not be everyone's cup of tea so if we did share photos i would rather be told that we just not might be their cup of tea. Sure if we made the advance it might be disappointing but better that then wasted time.

If the shoe was on the other foot there is no way we would share face photos if a meet wasn't on the cards at some point. we had a big scare here last year regarding privacy so why share photos any more than you really need to

This is tough but if you agreed to trade face pics I think it's only fair. Who knows, they might not like yours either anyway.

The hard part is figuring out what to say without being mean. And if you don't send one back they will instantly think that Was The plan all along

If both agreed to share face pic then yes send . But if other profile just sent dont see why unless u liked look of them .

even if they arent ur cup of tea if you get on with them then there's no harm in meeting them for a social coffee

Though situation.. but sure I been there. And its depends how chat goes! I usually send mine back and being honest Im not interested..

But also I remember that sometimes photo is lying and in real life person is nicer.

Im not best looking either.And often people I meet in socials, parties, meets have said Im better looking in real life then in pics (this scares me send mine)

Going on hypothetical question posed by op, it wasn't agreed to swap face pics but they sent their face pic as chat was going well.

There is no obligation to send a face pic back to someone who sends theirs especially if you know that you are not meeting them. That said, people in the flesh can surprise you and if connecting on all other levels I would return and agree to a coffee to see if you still connected and go from there. I have received gorgeous face pics from people, gone for coffee and either they looked nothing like the face pic or zero chemistry. It's just a picture not the person.

Personally speaking if someone takes the time to write out a nice message and not just a one liner then pic or no pic its only manners to reply even if its just to say thanks but no thanks. I know ladies must get a ton of mail and can pick n choose but still. Only my opinion

Good tactic, I must remember that one. Oh wait, no one ever sends me face pics anyway & all my pics are scruffy! Perfect solution to a non existent problem

If it is agreed to swap pics I think both definitely should, the person sending it first gets an “advantage” of seeing them and making a choice whereas the second doesn’t if they don’t receive one which isn’t fair imo.

Wouldn't feel obligated to return but doesn't mean we wouldn't.

Probably just put en on auto delete if we did.

But if they aren't what you expected or wanted then no need to feel obligated to return. We don't have face pics out in the open and only do with potential meets mostly.

We wouldn't be looking to meet for a coffee if we hadnt got any intention of doing more.

If they just send their pics without agreeing to exchange face pics then no we wouldn't send ours and would say thanks but there's no sexual attraction for us. If we've agreed to exchange we will send ours and still say this is us as agreed but sorry there's no sexual attraction

Thats the thing.

If your chatting and have got to the stage to swap photos.

And their not your type still swap and say soory not my type.

When you get ask for face pics and they block you to me thats not right a smiple sorry not my rype works.

Thats my take on it
