Irish accents ....... which county is the preferred accent of choice?!

Jump to newest

belfast

Being a ‘Nordie’ in Dublin I have found has occasionally worked in my favour when meeting singles or couples. Some love the accent, whereas some haven’t a clue what I am saying.

Just curious to know what others think is the sexiest accent across the counties of Ireland (both north and south). I am a sucker for a Derry, Dublin or Cork accent. Just a personal preference and no offence meant for the other counties

D4 anyone

once encountered a guy in D4 area bar, enquired where in England he was from ?

"England ?" he replied "good god man certainly not i'm from D4"

Often said English gentry speak with a plum in their mouths, this guy had a bag full.

Kinda like when your taking to someone on the phone and you get all flirty coz they have a sexy sounding voice. Then you pop into said shop /business, office ext and the bubble bursts completely.

I rarely hear Irish accents anymore, and can't tell them apart like I used to be able to as a child.

Used to know every counties accent very well. Oh well.
