Do bi sexual and gay men have lower standards for men than straight and bi sexual women?

Asking the question because over my time here I've had a few texts from gay and bi men (I'm not into that but don't mind the texts) and there's been countless threads from straight men talking about texts received from gay men. I don't think the same amount of females text first like that.

Before someone says there's more men than women i know but surely gay and bi men would be equal or close to the no of bi and straight women.

Is it down to standards?

I think a lot of men tend to have very low standards when it comes to a casual encounter that their friends won't find out about.

Whereas women here, being in the minority, can afford to have physical criteria higher than they might in the world of dating, also other qualities besides appearance are factored into long term relationships.

In real life gay men are usually better looking than us straight men (ya I just stereotyped but they usually do haha) so it's strange they're chancing us regular Joes way more than straight or bi women are. Maybe it's down to the amount of texts they're receiving themselves. I dunno how much texts gay and bi men get but I know women get a fuck tonne.

It doesn't sound right to me what you're implying. Why would a bi or gay man have lower standards than ie a straight man just because they're sending messages to other men? I don't get it tbh....

I'm sure you find in each category those with low and higher standards.

I'm saying it because I would say nearly every man with a half decent profile has had a text from gay or bi men but I bet not even half would have a text from a bi or straight female. I mean first contact btw. It could be that women expect the guy to make first contact too but I think it's more to do with standards haha

Like anything else its down to each individual. Doesn't matter if you're a man, woman, gay, bi or straight, some will be pickier than others, and everyone will have their own opinion on what 'picky' means

I have been told I'm quite high maintenance in Fab terms... I have very specific preferences and don't deviate from them, which can possibly mean that I'll only have 2-3 playmates in any given year. Yet others would say I'm far from choosy simply because the men I meet may be bisexual, or married, or (horrified gasp!!) both . Standards are in fact... Not standard!

I think you're spot on here, it has nothing to do with sexual orientation but with the ratio.

Some men here have no standards whatsoever they regard any hole as a goal, females and males included.

It's also the challenge/thrill for some.

There was a similar post a while back and a gay/TV/TS person commented on how some guys love to "turn" a straight guy. Apparently it's a conquest thing for some of them

It's not that my standards are lower. It's just the fact that I'm horny. And men tend to be Hornier than women without attraction. So me and another lad can satisfyingly help ourselves at the drop of a hat without any knowledge of each other. Where as if I'm with a lady it tends to be more sensual and intimate and takes time to cultivate. And only ends in sex once trust is established. But that's just my experience.

It's well noted that gay men are quite promiscuous and a lot would do anything. I even had a gay guy I worked with years ago tell me that. The whole 'cruising' scene.

That said... Let's be honest lads. A lot of guys would ride anything regardless of gay or straight.

We've all heard the sayings:

'any port in a storm'

'a standing prick has no conscience'

A lot of men throughout the times have went home with someone as it beat using your hand lol.
