Sorry to hear this OP, apparently it happens quite often unfortunately .May I suggest you speak on phone to verify they are genuine before you arrange a meet ,there are a few hee who get their kicks out of messing people about .

Stick to verified profiles, arrange a social meet first to establish that they are real and look like they claim to and will show up, at least if stood up for coffee you won't have wasted too much of your time.

Otherwise chalk it down and move on, no point getting wound up over it.

Here's a few of my own observations Op...

1. If you attend socials and M& G's you get known very quickly in the swinging commmunity as "dependandable" 'reliable"

or a "messer" / "time waster"

2. If a potential playmate

/couple

and I both have a mutual Fab friend, chances of us cancelling or messing the other around is greatly reduced (based on own experience)

3. There's also a lot of singles and couples on Fab for 9 months+ without a veri to their name and you really have to ask "why"??

4. The very same people who keep cribbing & using the words "Timewasters' again and again are usually the biggest timewasters and no show merchants...

So, anyone who comes onto Fab and wonders why people are so "cliquey"

It's not that we're cliquey, it's just you have to earn your reputation here...

There are loads of sound nice singles and couples here too, so "in" and upwards!
