Question about no shows

I was looking at a guy complaining about a no show the other day and I was wondering if they had been in contact with the person they had arranged to meet on the day.

I for one don’t even start to get ready for a meet unless I’ve heard from the person that day.

Or is that just me? Lol

I'd assume that everyone meeting up double check on the day of meeting if everything goes still ahead like planned, but that doesn't stop a no show. What I've read on here most no show go quiet just shortly before meeting.

And another no show no contact.

Happened to me few weeks ago, but got a genuine call an hour before hand to say she could make it due to family issues, but I'm waiting for her to get free time again soon.

We are amazed at the number of guys who agree to meet us and then seem to get "called into work" at short notice.

Mrs Snicker's and i after arriving in town got a pm five minutes before a meet asking could we rearrange the meet until 7 that evening ( after chatting to the guy most of the morning )...the tit failed to say he was at work until seven...needless to say he was told to feck of....Another guy into bdsm was chatting to us for weeks and on the day of the meet wanted to change location of the meet/time of the meet all at the last minute and sent a shite pic and then got pissed at us for telling him to stop messing us about...how do you even out time wasters like that.

This unfortunately is the kind of crap people have to deal with on here.

We had a guy respond to an ad we put up for a SOCIAL meet.

He messaged us about it asking us if we'd like to meet for coffee but when we emphasised that it would be just coffee he asked would there be no play at all.

We told him we always do just a social before arranging any play then he just went silent before we messaged him asking why he messaged us in the first place and then he told us he doesn't do just socials.

So then why respond to our ad for a SOCIAL meet, suggesting coffee?

This is one of MANY things that has been off-putting for us including three flakers on the same day recently as well as constant crude one liners and constant unsolicited dick pics. Final straw was yesterday when a guy messaged us yesterday asking what we were doing for Valentine's day. Told him we were staying together in a hotel for the night to spend quality alone time together, just the two of us and he asked if we need an extra pair of hands. Seriously? Quality alone time together, just the two of us and we get asked that.

Tired of it all so we've set our profile to hidden and are taking a hiatus from Fab.

I only log on now because I like chit chatting in the forum with familiar names and faces.

Mr C

I’ve had a guy confirm he was going to meet socially, showing online 20 mins before it then pop., gone offline until 4 hours after the time and cones back with oh I couldn’t get out of work.. sure but you knew that 20 mins before.,

Time waster chicken liveried gobshite.

I always confirm on the day and if I’m driving somewhere I’ll let them know I’m leaving, if no reply I’ll wait before going.

Most who cancel in this fashion never had any intention of meeting.

It has happened to me too but the worst thing is you never hear anything from them again. Why bother contacting someone if you have no intention of ever meeting. It's so annoying but some people just do care that they have wasted your time.
