Anyone got any obscure bands / groups they are in to at the moment? Or something not so mainstream?

Need to update the collection..

One I'm into at the moment is M83 not that they are obscure lol

Honestly I love everything bar Jazz... I think Jazz is just absolute wank...

But mainly love something a bit heavy... As long as their is good melody Im happy

Few Irish acts really doing it for me at the min are Dermot Kennedy & Saint Sister.. Villagers are always exceptional.

Someone introduced me to Big Thief recently.

I could go on and on and on...

Got into a band called 'Public Service Broadcasting' recently.. They don't have a lead singer - put an analogue TV in front of a mic and play music set to old media of presidents speaking etc. Pretty catchy stuff actually a lot of it.

Public Service Broadcasting are playing Belfast on the Friday of May Bank Holiday@ BBC Big Weekender, also on line up, Manic Street Preachers, Breeders,Beck, Orbital and Courtney Barnett. Couldn't believe when first saw who was playing, excited to see all of these in Belfast.
