Sexless Japan

Probably too late to get a thread going but I've read that just over 30% of men approaching their 30s in Japan are doing so without any sexual experience whatsoever. In a poll men were quoted as saying they find women scary and that they're afraid to be rejected. 1 in 4 men aged 50 are yet to marry and 1 in 7 women. Girls asked said guys don't seem to be bothered to ask them on a date. One question I have is why can't the girls ask the guys out? Also I think Japanese girls are cute in general so why are all the guys being cucks? Actually I don't know where I'm going with this thread, I found it interesting though. Guys and girls struggling to get meets get to Japan and be a little bold and the world is at your feet haha

I wonder what the percentage of men approaching their 30s in Ireland who have yet to have any sexual interaction would be? Irishmen can't be accused of not trying atleast haha I'd say the number would be 1 in 10 or 12. I know a few in their mid 20s who haven't but if they were surveyed they would say they have so it'll be hard to get accurate numbers here

Regarding your original post, I have noticed that most of the Japanese porn I've seen does treat the females as submissive and often a lot of "punishment" type scenarios.

Now, I have to say that I have not watched any in over 5yrs but that's my recollection of what I saw.

Perhaps that has played a factor in that, as life in general has become more equal, people are not into that kinda sex and are refraining as they think that's what's expected of them.

Also I imagine alcohol plays a much bigger role in Irish society and, therefore, both genders having sex, where if they were sober, it wouldn't have happened.

I've not been to Japan, so yes, I'm purely talking out my ass from my perception of Japan, not anything factual.

It's actually a huge problem in Japan. The population is in serious decline. From what I read the main reason is down to money and work. Some Job don't pay enough to cover the cost of having a family and then there's jobs where the Japanese are basically working all day and night all week. Working themselves to death almost. And ya drink in Ireland is a huge reason why many have had sexual experiences but like you I dunno how the Japanese drink. I'll Google it sometime haha

I think that's just stereotype porn like black men with huge cocks, old guys with young girls, Asian prostitute with ugly rich white bloke etc. I wouldn't draw any conclusions from that.

I personally couldn't offer any explanation. Ive only ever had sober sex. I drank 4 times in 2017 and haven't drank at all this year.i first had sex only 4 yrs ago (I put that down to the fact that I was never a drinker and most young girls met young guys while drinking in pubs or houses or fields etc...)

We don't "need" to indulge in drink to have sex. Many of us have it sober, occasionally. Not often now, before we kill the stereotype but, once a year at least sober

It's most likely down to our heritage of Catholic guilt. "You can't have sex unless it's in attempt at bringing new life into the world". If you were having a drink, "sure we could have a sneaky one and God mightn't catch us"

That's kinda how it was a long time ago but there are still wafts of it in the ether.

I think most forward thinking people in Ireland are well beyond the "need" for drink to be included.

However, I don't believe there is anyone who would deny that drink reduces inhibitions, which may lead to more interesting, varied sex, which one or both parties may be a little too reserved to discuss when sober. At least the first time they try something new but after that, it's the "oh do you remember that night? Should we do that again?" chat when sober and having fun.

Short answer. We don't

I heard about this problem in japan pretty fucked up a major lack of baby making but they never take their phones out their hands and all just buy sex dolls because its more convinient

If Japan was really worried about it they should pay people to have kids. By that I mean whatever child benefits they're paying atm should be significantly increased and child care should be hugely subsidised, schooling should be made alot cheaper etc... To be fair I've been very frustrated growing up in Ireland. Every weekend for years my friends just wanted to go to town and drink. Gets boring after two months. But I'm noticing more and more Irish people are starting to socialise sober these days.
