I'm fairly new to the forums iv been on fab for a good few years now and don't know why Iv stayed away but recently been reading a lot of the threads and feel like getting involved.

Forgive me if there is already a thread I have missed on accents but being from Derry and living in maynooth I often get compliments on my accent.

Do any of the ladies on here think an accent is a deal breaker and if so what is the nicest accent in your opinion?

Not a deal-breaker but certainly ones I like the sound of a lot. I'm originally from Armagh but I've lost mine. Some guys disappointed to hear that.

Completely lost or does it come back from time to time? I'm more into a nice southern accent than Armagh anyway tho that's nothing against the Armagh people

I love ladies with Northern Ireland accents.

I’ve spoken the women who have said they love all Irish accents which I find strange given how much variation there is.

I love accents...

I tend to pick others accents up really easily and i sometimes have to tell people i am not taking the piss by speaking back to them in their accent.

I love the Derry accent OP.. but i seem to have a bit of a thing for an american one at the min..

belfast

Over in the lounge a while back they had a thread where people uploaded links to YouTube where they had recorded themselves saying different things.

That would be a good way of hearing what each other sound like

There were a few surprises on that thread!
