If given the choice, and I know many don't have a choice, would you prefer to meet a Fab friend in a hotel or in your/their home? Some people like to keep their private life private and keep things out of their house. Others just like being spoiled and put up in a lovely room. I have a few friends that prefer to meet in their home because all their "accessories" are then readily available. Which do you prefer?

I have met people at both and I understand the appeal. Hotels seem more naughty and like a film, at home makes you feel more secure.

We prefer hotel meets ,less likely to be interrupted ,plus someone else gets to do the cleaning up .We'd never accomodate at our own home but know others that do and if it works for them alls good .

The cleaning thing is a big plus, isn't it! The sheets are someone else's problem

always found home meets tend to be more passionate and more fun overall hotels no one ever really relaxes as much and rooms are always a bit bare and basic. always found meets to be a more natural pace and build up at homes as you can work your way up to a room in hotels is almost like well lets get to it !

understand both points of view i cant host at home and therefore know the necessity of hotels but its great whe someone feels comfortable enough to invite you into theirs.

plus always thr risk with booking a hotel of a no show and you are out of pocket.

It is a very nice feeling when someone trusts you enough to let you into their home, I mean what is more personal than your actual home.

I no longer do hotel meets as a rule as I've had to foot the bill a few times and had a couple very late no shows. I've one hotel meet to be arranged but she's booking it.

One of my main filters is if they say cannot accommodate then I tend not to engage, or if they message I'll raise this issue straight away to see if will cause difficult in meeting as many don't meet outside either. No point wasting anyone's time.

Unlike some others on here I find hotel meets a bit cold and more akin to paying for sex in my mind. I'm certainly less relaxed in a hotel than in a home. Many of my meets will be over a weekend and so they also involve going out for a meal/drinks between sessions.

Lol... I'd say your friend has nicely set you up there.

Best ask her as she probably now has one of the best pancake recepies in Ireland and the UK

Tell her I'm still waiting on my royalties

First time usually a hotel tbh unless they host. If something is more regular then home becomes handoer and less expensive. But I can't always host due to living with others.

I prefer my home. I’ve nothing to hide. It’s my domain. I’m more comfortable thier and my rules. And besides before anyone comes to my home I will have been chatting or even met socially before hand even for a coffee at mine. Nobody has out stayed Thier welcome or come knocking on my door uninvited as if they did and started they would need to be very good at running

I’ve not been able to accommodate for the past couple of months, and I miss it. I love the chilled, laid back atmosphere of being in a house. I tend to be kinda noisy (shocker), and that can cause problems with neighbouring rooms in hotels. I’ve never had a bad experience hosting at home.

Moving into a new place soon and looking forward to a ‘christening’
