"Hi all sorry this isnt fab related, but need advice. I’ve finally stopped smoking after 30 yrs, I’m determined to stay off them, family history and all that, I’ve even started back to the gym and using the intermittent diet. Ive been good more or less all week did the weight in tonight and im a bit gutted at weight gain. Anyone who’s stopped what did you do stop the weight gain. Any advice is welcome. " High-intensity interval training ( HIIT) The only way if you are stock at certain weight. | |||

"Using the patch, as the gum broke my mouth out in ulcers, stopping hasn’t annoyed me in the slightest had the odd craving but if I engage the brain on other things it removes the notion. Just didn’t realise how much the smoking actually suppressed the appetite. As a mature lady on here my metabolism is starting to slow down which doesn’t help trying to loose the weight. Only for the gym I’d be lost, as my job entails I’m on my arse most of the day looking at a computer screen. Lifting weights, started spin classes, and walking-jogging. Still gutted though. " You are doing very well there , Impressive effort You may consider some supplements , green tea extract , L carnitine to help convert fat to energy . Proper diet and you are there in no time . | |||

Congratulations on getting off the smokes Not sure what method you used but still may be worth reading Alan Carr easyway as most report no/small weight gain with that" I cooked the sattay chicken tonight and had it with Jasmine rice and home made chow me in.. bloody lovely | |||

That's one of the ones that my kids want to try, so I did the chicken tikka last night. Beware! It was so nice, I had 2 helpings Oh, I hate salads but the Katchumber one to go with it is just gorgeous! Could, and should, have eaten a bowl of that. | |||
