excellent. do u let it go fully dead? do you let it drop to about 50 and then back up to 80? do you charge it when it drops below 20 and back up to 100

Put it in the microwave at 650 for 3 minutes and it'll be charged for the day from 15% to 100%

The old mobile phone batteries were terrible. The best way was to firm off the phone while charging... but modern day batteries are made of a different more powerful material. You can charge your battery now no matter what percentage it's At! It won't effect the life of it in the long run.. app are the big battery drainers now..

Ok, you're being serious.

On buying it, full charge to 100% and use until fully dead, then charge up to 100% again and use as usual. Apparently this is not essential any more with newer tech batteries.

For faster charging, turn on airplane mode or turn phone off completely.

They also say that the newer batteries should not be let go down to 0% any more, so I guess it depends on the age of your phone.

No, around a 15 quid. Question is how long they last, but I'll deal with that when it comes down to it.

new phone. read somewhere to charge a phone to 100 % and back to 0 until it switches off once a month. dunno how true that is. when you usually get a phone there is about 30 odd % battery and I dunno are you supposed to charge it or let it run out

I don't need extension leads, but I think I'll put another USB wall socket up beside my bed, one port for the phone and one for the dildo

Nice one on the new phone

As another poster said, you should read the manufacturer guidelines in this instance.

I don't believe you need to do the 0% every month. I don't and my Motorola is at least 2yrs old now and still lasts for 2 days if I'm not Fabbing, though I can't recall the last time that happened

The charging to 100 and leaving it until it switches off, is only to calibrate the battery. It lets the software know the total life of the battery so it can give an accurate %.

They will last like a normal socket. They are in all newly built houses now. Any site that has built houses since last year seem to have them.

Lithium-ion batteries that are in most modern mobiles are better managed by regular topping up rather than being allowed to do totally flat.

So when you can always plug into charger. Chargers themselves can alter between full charging and trickle charging.

The plug socket will last but not necessarily the USB port. I've seen and read many reviews online, loads claiming that the the USB port stopped working after a year.

.....

Quick point on those socket usb charge points. They have a 2 amp charge between the two ports meaning each supply sends one amp max to the device being charged. Its cruel slow but thats all you will ger for €15. I have them on most sockets now but look for 2 × 2amp sockets. It will handle a tablet and quick charge most phones. Oh and avoid Aldi etc. Component quality is brutal

If old phone was Android phone and new phone is same, all contacts should be synced up to your Gmail account. Never have to worry about SIM crap again
