Crippling shyness

How do i get over my shyness. Iv been getting friendly (some might say in the friendzone?) with a girl lately and dont even know where to begin with moving onto the next stage. Iv had no male role models in my life and am lost to the whole idea of courting a woman

Me personally I think it’s all down to confidence,if your confident in yourself people immediately pick up on it,find ways to build your confidence,I found going to the gym gave me a lot of confidence,maybe give that a go

It's all about being cool with being rejected.

Everyone gets rejected, everyone gets a no. So you have to figure out what you want, and then when you figure it out you have to just ask, being perfectly okay with a no. Whats the worst thing that happens if they say no? you still got a friend.

People say no for all sorts of reasons, it might be nothing to do with you being in the friend zone, it could be as simple as the wind blowing the wrong way that day. Women are fickle like that, who knows whats going on in their brain.

Good morning op like you i was painfully shy at your age but it does get better you will get more confidence as time goes by.. try chat on the forums people will get to know you see your personality etc,

Think a swinging site is the wrong place for this chap , there’s enough freaks weirdos and virgins here already. Why does a site for sexually liberated people attract so many oddballs ? Not suggesting o p is any of the above but ya gotta wonder why a profile on this kind of site

Thanks for everyones posts iv read them all and appreciate everyone taking the time to respond

I have thought about joining a gym but in this day and age that in itself it intimidating. Have got myself a set of weights at home to try build myself up.

I know a swinging site isnt exactly the best place for this type of post but there are not many forums out there on this subject in ireland that i can relate to. i feel like for all the bad/creepy stuff that goes on here the vast majority of people are brutally honest. I can only respect that and hope it can help somebit
