Vanilla club as a single woman ..what's it like. Can it be intimidating? ?? Is it better as a couple. I'd love opinions from people who've experienced it all

I went on my own last year was very very nervous but met up with some lovely couples....I'm heading again this Feb for Valentine's hopefully with a plus one for some company and play xx

I'd love to but I'm very nervous of been on my own. I just think I'd feel safer as a couple

if ye decide to go they set up a group chat on kik with everyone that's going so ye kinda get to know people beforehand..ye I know the feeling hence why I'm working on a plus one hopefully...x

Honestly downstairs is very much like a meet and greet everyone is chatting drinking and dancing. Up stairs there's no single guys allowed up without a woman and is regularly checked by the female security. I'd say you'd be made feel welcome and not harassed if anyone steps out of line they would be removed

Hi hun xx we always set up a kik group beforehand and u get chatting to people and on the night we arrange pre drinks in local hotel so u will defo get to know people xxx dont worry we will look after u

It's really for couples . Singles are lost in it to be honest . That's my opinion . Although both single male and female are welcomed . I would not go to a club again unless I had a partner . I'm not shy and got to chat to a lot of people but it's not the same without a partner .

You will be fine Sally, after kik group and pre drinks, you will see a lot people you already maybe chat here on forums...

If you decide to go we might even bump into each other, I'm mostly downstairs socialising and dancing the night away, there never is any pressure to play or anything else if you don't feel comfortable to do so

As laid said you don't need to worry and you should enjoy the nite . There is always a chat group set up before a party and you can chat with everyone and get to know them .

We have gone with nervous couple's and ladies and they have been pit at ease very quick when they arrive

and couldn't recommend it enough .

I've being to _he vanilla club twice and found Saturday nite the best had a great nite there. I went to the first midweek last week and it wasn't good bad turn out probably down to ppl working next day so probably give the midweek a miss next time. I found the ppl I met there very friendly very easy to chat to so definitely be going again on Saturday great craic.

The night I went there wasn't female security. I have been touched for a man without my consent. People mess in the playrooms, they are disrespectful when you are trying to play. The staff is not enough for the amount of people, specially upstairs. Men use the lady's toilet and nobody cares.

I strongly recommend to single girls to not go without a male partner.

The first night I went alone.

I knew no one & couldn't have been more welcome.

Got talking to few people & had a blast.

Now we can't get enough of place.

We don't do kik but do pre drinks & meet new people all the time at these parties (couples & singles both normally nervous).

It's hard to figure out sometimes who the single females are as they blend into groups they are talking to so well.

New female security guard does keep an eye upstairs & if there is any issue hosts deal with it quickly. Rare that I've seen issue in years I've been going except odd person who had 1 to many but can't think of a party where that doesn't happen (fab or vanilla) even then hosts make sure they get back to hotel in 1 piece.

I'd go again by myself no issue.

Only warning I'd give is its like pringles once you pop you can't stop - hate it when we can't make a party.

Looking forward to 3rd count down is on.

As a single women Sally I've gone alone to the Cork club and now to the Vanilla. Joined the kik group and turns out I already know a few from a m&g I went to some time ago. Every one is welcoming and as V said their are pre drinks when you get to meet them face to face beforehand

I was terrified first time going alone but took the plunge and delighted i did as always prefer going alone now (tried going with some one but wasn't for me).

Try it and I've a strong feeling you will enjoy it

I think this is the best advice that anyone can give, if you are nervous about going, get a chaperone to go with you. Most single girls do this that we know. Thats no different to going to a regular club.

In saying that, you wont have any issues in the bar area.

Absolutely not I go all the time never have I had a problem everyone is lovely friendly non pushy, telling ya from experience it is a great place and you will have a good time. No play or nudity down stairs so no one feels uncomfortable and 100% respect is shown at all times you should go. Their having a singles night Frb 9th xx
