By day it's hit and miss as regards couples...opens at 11 am and closes at 1 am week days (probably later at the weekends). Two sections there..gay and straight.. sofas and booths to play on but people just play on the seats too.Enjoy

Went yesterday. A dark spot alright. Stayed for 20 mins there was 4 men and myself there. One an absolute creep who wasn't mentally stable at all. Hopefully he won't be allowed in again. Very clean though and for 10 you cant go wrong really. Hope it gets even busier. Great idea to have ticket system to come and go as you please as often as you want in the day you pay.

We went tonight. Was clean and okay but the play area is a bit small we kinda got penned in by guys. Herself went for a cigarette and everyone dispersed, the second she walked back in everyone followed her to the sofa waiting while I wasn't there yet...was kind of awkward.

We would go again but only if we knew another couple was going to be there too do we weren't the entire cinemas focus.

Like we went and there was a guy we met and started chatting to. Other guys in there, one of them saw us and left. We then left for drinks . That guy came back with a woman and went straight to where we had been according to the other guy that stayed.

We also then got msgs after we left for the night saying they were on their way someone had told them we were there etc so i think a lot of couples would go if they knew others would be there.

Some of the guys in there are kinda creepy too though so j hope they don't ruin it for everyone else. With it being so small one bad experience would put u off,

Went there this afternoon. There is a small scrolling neon sign with blue letters that tells you it's Basic Instinct. It's a sex shop like Secrets or Utopia inside, but there is a door for the cinema. Tenner to get in, and you can come and go as you please for the day if you get a ticket from them going out. You go down a little hall when you enter the cinema. At the back it is dark (my eyesight adjusted after a while) where there are four sofas and two armchairs, and six small booths beside them which are empty (they also have gloryholes). The cinema area itself is divided by a wooden partition, with a TV screen on either side, one showing straight porn and one showing gay porn. Each area has four double seats and three single seats. There are ten lockers as well, €2 each with a €5 deposit (keys available in the front shop). There is also a bathroom with a toilet, two urinals and an electric hand-dryer.

That's pretty much it. Was very quiet when I was there. I think the place has potential.

Thanks, That paints a pretty clear picture. Sounds ok. We are heading to Cork at the end of next month on business ( kid free

) and definitely will be paying it a visit. Don’t know why but this type of scenario has always been a dark fantasy of ours and we can’t be much further away from home !

The more people that wait for others to go the less will actually be there lol. I dont think theres any roster for who will be there at any particular time. Its only 10 euro entry.. says it on the door going into the cinema so no idea why you were charged 20. To be fair it is a very clean spot and in much better condition than a lot of grotty spots Ive heard of in other counties.

If is to succeed it will need to get more Females and couples to go there , and guys will need to have some manners and not pester a couple if they want to watch then they should ask ! Been in there a few times. Was there at the weekend and was the first time I felt uncomfortable.. a guy in the straight porn section asked the lady who works to come in and fix the video feed which she did. He proceeded to ask her to rub his cock then his leg.. then give him a kiss. She passed on the offer of course. He asked me if I wanted and when I was getting dressed to leave he knocked on the door probably 8-10 times asking me to come into where I was dressed. Waited for me when I came out. What sort of gobshite are we dealing with! I had an incident there as well! I was sitting at the back in the Straight cinema and this Gay guy came in and sat beside me I got up and went to another seat but he started giving lip I went to leave he followed me out to the shop where he started again! He got himself barred ! And nearly got a good thumping off me ! But I still say if done right it could be a good spot

I 100% agree they could have done a bit more thought in the design and layout of the cinema would have helped! Maybe put the gay cinema up where the couches and booths are and a private area then just outside it for Gays! Leave the Straight cinema where it is and put a private area for Straight people where the Gay cinema is! Maybe have a simple swipe card system into each area! That what I would do anyway that is my idea!

yeah... the weird thing at the back that seems to be locked when we went could be used too. the gloryholes are too small to do much in as a couple so your only choice is the sofas which u then get blocked in with guys.

Two rooms with cinema style seating... kind of... like 2 seats together then a gap then two seats across a gap (AFAIR). One room with gay porn on a tv/dvd player one with straight. Outside that is a corridor down to a small narrow corridor type thing with sofas and gloryholes. Not very big at all.

Not sure on exact opening times but I think it's midnight at weekends maybe later.

It's €10 per person man or woman. U pay in the sex shop and that gets u access for the day. If u leave u can return later as long as u tell the person on the counter some ppl say they give u a ticket but we didn't get one.

Had a somewhat similar incident a few weeks ago. I moved to a different seat and he followed. Eventually I made it clear that I was not interested and he moved back to the gay section.
