Mostly one for the ladies here I had my first wax on thursday but the pain was unreal. Beautician said it gets easier and I'm wondering if its true or not? Because I love the feel and look of the full wax but dunno is it worth the pain each month

I'm having a full wax every 4/5 weeks for about 2 years now and I'd never go back to shaving or immac. It's painfull but it gets easier. . You get used to it I suppose. The most painful bit is when that skin between your labia and ass cheeks have to be waxed. That's every couple of months .. that's sensitive

It’s true , the more your wax the more the hair roots gets weaker and the hair thinner .

After few months you will notice lesser hairs growing too best of luck

I think threading is awful and definitely not for the lady bits

In a nutshell yes .. the first time is horrible ... it dose get easier in time but getting the lips and perineum done is painful always .... but it's worth it , you'll never remove hair another way. Research your beautician make sure she's skilled at what she does

Make sure you go back in about 4 weeks after your first wax. With the hair growth cycle you need to clear all the stuff that was ready to germinate before you got waxed. Then 4 weeks later and that’s when you have all the hair at the same point in the cycle.

Don’t leave it too long between waxes as this gives the hair bulbs time to mature and get bigger making it more painful.

Make sure your therapist is using hot wax and stretching the area well. More stretch, less pain. Don’t forget to exfoliate (gently) about 2 days time and moisturise.

I’m a pro myself if you’ve any other questions pm me.

Shaving with a razor takes a lot of courage.

I used to shave my privates with one but I don't have the balls to do it anymore.

The hot wax(one without the strip that goes hard in your skin) is warmer, opens the pores and makes it less painful. It’s more gentle on the intimate areas too. I only use hot wax for all bikini areas.

Strip wax is for legs or backs in men..

At the risk of being rounded on, is sugaring a better option or is it just as painful, asking for a friend

What's sugaring?"

I do this myself, natural wax using only lemon, sugar, water, takes a lot practice and experience to do it yourself, I do my Hollywood with this. It's great, never redness or burn (the wax needs to be cool down to apply, like a soft, sticky caramel)

But I know there is few places in Dublin doing this
