What is the best way to introduce yourself when sending a mail for the first time..?? What turns you off and what makes you want to reply!?

What turns me off is being crude, they don’t know me or what I like and they message with what they like to do also copy and paste jobs you can tell when they are

What makes me reply is their profile or pics. If there’s nothing there I won’t reply

I hate crude stuff too and rarely talk about sex to a woman . It's a sex site so we are all here for the same thing that's to enjoy our self's

Dick pics and text speak. Saying "Hi, I'm in your town right now, want to shag?" doesn't hurt either.

If you get a "no thanks" or no response, an insult will help, as it shows you're a big manly man and she'll no for sure that she's missing out.

I like to hear from an intelligent interesting guy who introduces himself telling me a little about himself. I do try and answer as many messages as I can although I often fail miserably

As for the messages that just say hi.... I do respond with just hi to see if they elaborate.... the crude ones I leave unanswered to disappear with time

After I receive a message I go straight to the profile to see if it interests me and that includes pics and what they have written about themselves. If neither interest me then I know the message they have written probably isn't going to interest me either...

I'm clear on my profile regarding what I'm looking for and I think it's clear what I'm not looking for too....

Exactly. We play the "block those who obviously haven't" game every weekend. Shame as some are quite attractive, but no interest in those who don't take the time to read, as well as check out pics.

I can answer that as a yes...

When I joined the site and had nothing on my profile and was in the process of setting it up, no bio or photos I was inundated with messages... I was told about filters from a very nice guy but didn't truly know how to use them until a few months ago lol

Wish I could remember who he was

We'll the great thing about this site and the web in general, is that a lot of the work is now done for you. A database of likeminded people at your fingertips. no embarressing real world misinterpretating signals etc.

The least that can be expected (I think) is for someone to take 5 mins to read your profile and base your message around where you think you fit the bill. And in kind, take the time to set up your profile to similarly help others to make that determination.

I've often replied to messages from folks i know we're not attracted to, but I know they've made the effort. Friends can be made, not just potential conquests.
