FabSwingers.com forum: Unsettling messages

We get our fair share of "Hi" & "Wanna meet now?" messages. Delete with no reply is our standard modus operandi, but every so often we will get a truly vindictive message. One containing some piece of personal information, our names or the general location where we live, etc.

The strangest thing we've found is some, not all, of these profiles are verified. We've tried reporting the profiles to admin but, in our opinion, it seems nothing is ever done.

Surely "Block and move on" shouldn't be our only option, and surely this isn't the behaviour "FabSwingers" should or would want to promote or is it the treatment the majority of us expected when signed up.

We must add we don't feel threatened in as afar as contacting the Gaurds is concerned, though if it did ever come to that, again, we wouldn't have an issue with speaking to a member of the police force.

Ah that is rubbish, sorry to hear you are getting that sort of abuse. What does it even serve?

Anyone that comes on any site to do that sort of thing has very little to do and I don’t see what kick they get out of it, I have had it happen to me on one occasion and just ignored them and they did nothing more, MOST of these individuals do it as an empty threat to see but haven’t the balls to actually go do anything about it!!!

A lady friend on here got a rude message and she said it normally does not bodar her but this one did . Reporting them does very little I think . They can set up another profile and start again . I think there has to be something done about these sickos .

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
