Was an extra in it myself for a few seasons, right craic doing it...except for having to wear what can only be described as a bear skin and try swing a shield and axe in blistering July heat pretending it was a Scandinavian winter!!

Was asked to go on it.But couldn't get the time of plus other commitments . I even stopped shaving for a month.My hair been long for years.A friend of the brothers was in it a lot. I even was happy to bring my own sword,axe,Saxe,shield etc plus a few other things.

You would be amazed how many people get star struck and dont bother reading whats on their chit sheet for every day you sign for.. i am part of the marines crew and one week we on set for 3 days before we were called for a scene lol.. we were sleepin on the longboats in the middle of the quarry for hours lol
