In a country the size of Ireland, it's possibly more likely that people may see you as someone who might not be discreet.

The people I met in England have left the site. And nobody is willing to give meet even for a social lol. I have verified myself in here but doesn't seem to do much good tbh. Even offered to Skype etc with people.

Somebody suggested to me recently that having pics up publicly might be doing more harm then good when it comes to meets. Alot of women are apparently put off as it might be perceived that your not discrete. I decided to remove my pics publicly and see if it helped and all i got was "you cannot message this person unless you have pictures on your profile"

Conclusion - women do not want to even hear from you unless they can see what you look like.... Most women at least

OP why not try both that way you'll find out for yourself. Once youre happy putting face pic on display. Each profile on here is individual.

If you have been following my posts you would know that iam not actively looking for meets. It's beyond my control if you choose to perceive what i say as negative. My understanding was that it might be best to not have pics on display but when they aren't on display your unable to even send a message to most women which proves most women don't wanna hear from you unless you have pictures up. This is just a fact. If that's negative to you then so be it

Giving my opinion is hardly hijacking a thread. The forums are here for people to post about various subjects and the rest of us get to discuss our own views / beliefs etc I say what i believe to be true. Iam not trying to upset or offend anyone. I believe there's Truth in what i say so iam not gonna back down and do a u turn just because it will sit better with people

It does no harm at all, too put your face pic up. I did it for one day just, got loads of replies, and good feedback. No damage done.

But it can do damage if your pics are copied without your knowledge and used on other sites, which has happened many times here.
