Google Chrome is used by millions world wide. Pretty sure it's trustworthy. I use it on my mac and much prefer it over safari although ironically i prefer safari on mobile devices.

what? Apple restricting you to their approved apps

Sorry but that's one of the reasons I will never buy Apple stuff.

I'm sure there's a way around it though. Google is your friend

Should also mention, Chrome browser version 64 is in beta and has much better security, so maybe wait a week or two until it's official and get it.
