If I saw that, I'd block both accounts of troller and, if the person you've met doesn't have a good reason for verifying them, block that one also

No direct experience but if someone is going to that sort of effort just to be a dick, it’s sad.

Remember though that the person who verified them is not necessarily at fault here: all they did was verify that the troll behaved in a particular way at a moment in time - it’s not an indication of the trolls personality.

Sorry if you’ve had to endure nonsense like that though. Take consolation from the fact that their personality will probably lead them never to have sex. Maybe they haven’t even up to now and they are so frustrated that’s why they are a troll...??

There are some sad people about. If it was me, I would use filters to reduce the risk.

In relation to friend/person you met verifying the said profile, I would just simply ask them about the profile expressing your doubts and be guided then by their response. Who knows anyone's motives? Trust your instinct Evie masks will fall eventually. First sign of drama, and something not adding up, just put some distance between you and them. Walk away from drama. Fab is for fun...amd you like to have fun, unfortunately there always be haters..don't let anyone spoil your fab journey..a lesson I learned myself this year

Who do I trust? Me.. its an interesting question. Would I trust a silhouette here, which in my opinion obviously has something to hide. I spend a lot of my time here interacting with threads, and also observing what people write, and over time you can see the various layers fall away. How can we develop a greater sense of community? I distrust this agenda, maybe that's why I have only three friends on fab.

Red’s advice is very sound. Use the filters to try and sort out the genuine and nonsense users in here. And suss them out via some careful questioning....people who are in here to abuse will eventually let it slip. Indicates how sad and spiteful they are.

Don’t let them get you down Evie. They are probably seriously frustrated due to their lack of personal skills......or having a decent personality!

Sometimes those you least expect get caught up in the nastiness on here. Something I've experienced this year by some who cant accept a no thank you. Many will lie or listen to the lies...but I've found there's many who are living a lie or two being on here and whats stopping them continuing that here? So I trust very few on FAB.

Indeed. Unfortunately there's a widespread love for gossip in the scene but also some jealousy driven or simply malicious individuals. Mix that together and you have a poisonous cocktail. Blunt lies are being spread through the fab gossip kitchen to divide and conquer but also to damage the integrity of some fabbers.

Best is to ignore it, develop a thick skin and as many others said trust your gut feeling and keep as much as you can to yourself.

We all have our tastes and have to be true to ourselves and with that respect everyone else as well. Dont change who you are because of them, how they act reflects on them and not you.
