Sliced the tip of my thumb right off using one of these ..... a chunk of skin over 2mm thick removed and it is NOT nice .......... ahhhhhhh.

Anyone else have any horror stories from using these medieval torture devices?

What were you using? Not clear what medieval torture device you are referring to.

I have good knife skills in the kitchen and the world's best knife sharpener, so accidents are rare, because the knives do what they're supposed to.
