Not displaying verifications

Is there a reason to not have your verifications displayed? She loves meeting but not if the person has the tick but nothing else. Is it suspicious or am I just being over cautious?

Lots of reasons to not display them. Some people like privacy, some people don't want others contacting the people who have verified them, some only show a few. I think you're being a little over cautious. If in doubt, you could ask the person in question.

Lots of reasons to not display them. Some people like privacy, some people don't want others contacting the people who have verified them, some only show a few. I think you're being a little over cautious. If in doubt, you could ask the person in question. "

we hide ours but if we were talking to a lady about meeting who wanted to see them its easy to show them for a few mins

I don't think you can't be over cautious. Ask to see them, most go along with that and show them for a short while. I wouldn't meet someone who isn't willing to show me a few veris.

I only have a summary of mine up.for various reasons of I like my privacy and have had grief of showing them in the past.saying that who ever I meet I allways offer to show them .

Ive had hassle on a previous profile over my veris. This time got grief over one of veris photos.

Asked for naughty ones of me i said i didnt do any and the reply was you look pretty good in .... photos. He than blocked me so didnt get to say wasnt me in the sexy pics lol

I have had numerous profiles mail me passing all sorts of comments on my verts .I find it a lot easier not to display and only show them to people I meet if they wish to see them.much easier for me this way

Who wants to read that I had coffee meets 4 yrs ago..

I also wouldn’t display one that was, IMO too graphic.. (I’ve only 1 like that, thankfully)

I don't really think it is something you need to put out there or expect to see. Like people needing to put down their exes on Facebook or something.

Quite worrying hearing about people contacting other people who verified folks. Very stalkerish.

I agree i had one guy blocked he was very pushy he was getting other men to mesg me asking me to chat to me.. hence why i have a new profile..

I have met a good few friends on here we contact each other outside of the site because they expect discression it is everybody's respect is important not all the veries if nobody wants to contact me because I havnt many veries then that is their problem I respect everybody's privacy when I meet sometimes I meet locals on here and they don't want their life broadcast

For me, the veris just create too much attention good and bad in the past. Plus I fiercely private. Like to keep the detail of meet between me and my company. I do love getting veris though

If you have a verification from a person but that person later deletes their profile then you will still have the green tick but their verification will no longer show publicly.

So, for example, in the the case of my profile. I used to have four published verifications and it showed Verified by 4 people, 3 fems and 1 couple, by 4 meets.

One of those females deleted her profile so now my profile displays three published verifications and still shows Verified by 4 people, 3 fems and 1 couple, by 4 meets.

The females verification disappeared when she deleted her profile and I no longer have the option to display though it still shows in my total count summary.

Hope this makes sense.

Then as others have said, sometimes people choose not to display their verifications for privacy reasons.

It's usually best to just ask the person politely and any person worth meeting won't mind giving a straight answer.

Also if you end up blocking a person who had Verified you or they block you then their published verification no longer shows but it still shows up in the total count.
