Do you read a thread in its entirety? Or make comment on the op only. It can be obvious when people make a point, that has already been covered further up the thread. I'm speaking of discussion threads, not the generic type of fuck, kiss, or avoid threads. Are you bothered to read the whole thread?

If it takes my interest i would read it all to see what are people's views on what the tread is about.

Depends entirely on how long the thread is by the time I find it. I often dont click on ones that sre upwards of 60 replies.

More so if it is the same few people arguing a point back and forth.

I wont read a thread where the content has been quoted a million times, its too much. I sometimes think people dont realise you can quote a specific part of a post instead of the whole thing.

Agree, I find that level of scrolling irritating, and I wasn't aware you could quote specific parts of a comment, I just assumed that was a membership feature.

I'll read the first couple of comments , if it takes my interest I'll continue . If it's just an argument I don't bother.

I normally start at the beginning and work my way through, because things can go off on a tangent and trying to pick it up in the middle doesn't always work. Having said that, I sometimes click on the last comment, if it's from someone I know, to see what they have to say, and then I'll go through to see what it's all about.

The name of the thread is what would pique my interest. ..then I'd read the OP'S post! If that was something I felt like contributing to I would read the whole thread before commenting! I'll often read a whole thread and not comment though, depends on my mood! I can be nosey like that

Start at the top till I hit something i dont agree with or a question I can answer, then scroll down to see if anyone has answered it, if they have, scroll back up and continue reading down. If no one has answered, reply answering.

It all depends, sometimes a thread gets the big it's like a novel and I end up flicking through it
