The sky is so clear tonight that I've seen 2 shooting stars in the space of 5 minutes...

Has anyone else seen any?

I wanted to stay out longer to watch them but I'm conscious that I'm up for work in a couple of hours and I need sleep

Yeah Laura. Up north here when I was driving home from Belfast to Portadown last night on the motorway, I thought I saw a plane plummeting in the distant skyline but then realised it was a shooting star.

I'm sure it was a huge relief to know it wasn't a plane..

Just saw some more shooting stars a few minutes ago ..

Yep my heart sort of sank as I first saw it but then when I realised it was a shooting star I smiled as I cruised down the motorway in awe at how marvellous the universe is.
